NEWVA Announces All New England Seniors
Springfield, Mass.- The New England Women’s Volleyball Association announced today New England’s top 33 Division III senior volleyball players invited to compete in the 2011 NEWVA Senior Classic, Sunday, Dec. 4, at the University of Massachusetts-Boston.
The annual event features the area’s top seniors competing in various skills competitions beginning at 10:00 a.m. leading up to the afternoon’s all-star match beginning at 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the Senior Classic invitees, 12 seniors have earned 2011 NEWVA Honorable Mention recognizing their New England volleyball collegiate careers. All players were selected by a vote of all participating member head coaches following the nomination process.
The full list of honorees represents 33 different institutions from NCAA Division III volleyball programs across New England and eight different conferences.

Established over 25 years ago, the New England Women’s Volleyball Association is open to all collegiate institutions in New England sponsoring Division III women’s volleyball. Membership has grown to 56 members in 2011, representing nine conferences.
